Provisional Psychology Academy: 5+1 Program Opportunities for Students Information Session

The Autism Association of Western Australia is excited to introduce the Provisional Psychology Academy, a premier program designed to advance the careers of provisional psychologists with a focus on disability and mental health. 

Our program offers a comprehensive 5+1 Internship, providing an exceptional pathway to achieving general registration as a psychologist while deepening expertise in the disability sector. The Provisional Psychology Academy includes Board-approved supervision, external internship placements, and tailored professional development— all at no cost.

Key Features: 

• Funded Board Approved Supervision: Supported by a Commonwealth Government grant, Board Approved Supervision is provided at no cost to provisional interns.

• Expert Supervision: Receive guidance from Board-Approved Supervisors, including Dr. Lauren Taylor, a Senior Clinical Psychologist with extensive expertise in the disability sector. 

• Personalised Attention: Be part of a small cohort of up to fifteen provisional psychologists, ensuring that each intern receives individualised mentorship and support. 

• Networking Opportunities: Engage with peers and professionals, enhancing learning and career prospects.
